Benidorm has been a tourist destination since the begining of the package holiday. Benidorm has changed considerably since then and so has the way people holiday.

The gay scene in Benidorm is centered around the Old Town of Benidorm (sometimes referred to as the gay village). There are many bars, restaurants and hotels catering for the gay market and Benidorm is also home to hundreds of gay men and women living and working in (or retired to) Benidorm.

If you'd like to stay 'off scene' but still feel welcome there are many family bars and restaurants that are gay friendly and/ or gay owned. E.g Domino Bar, Paneils Restaurant, Witches Bistro or Honey Pot Cafe.

To get more into the gay scene we have Company Bar (CoBar) which is extremely popular with the bears, but of course everyone is welcome. Then there is Intimate Bar, Viva Bar, 'The Queens' with cabaret and karaoke, Happy Handbag and Heaven 7... to name a few.

Then later on if you like something a bit more 'hardcore' there are men only bars with dark rooms and video rooms for your enjoyment.
